Awful game, that could be great.

This is an awful game because you will be LUCKY to get past lvl 4. Sometimes you will be lucky to be past lvl 3. I say luck because there was several times that I made only two moves on opposite sides of the board and it was over. To get to level 10 is pure luck, and takes NO skill at all. It might as well be a slot machine. If you could put a solution to every level, even if it was obscure, it would make it a great game.

I think this is a silly forum thread.

You claim that you would have to be "lucky" to get past level 4. What facts do you have to back this up, other than your assumptions, which are not facts, anyways. ;)

There are 6 pages of people who have achieved the Gold Award, showing that they have successfully obtained a score of 30,000 or more.

There are 11 pages of people that have reached level 10 or higher, which has earned them the blue award.

I'd say that the above FACTS would prove beyond a reasonable doubt, that luck has nothing to do with getting past level 4. It's more about proper planning, and using your brain.

I suck at the game, and even I can get past level 4 with minimal effort.

It is called hacking. Here go to this game http://www.nonoba.com/bryces/assembler and do the first several levels, then look at the all time high scores. This is one of the most hacked sites I have ever seen. So I would say your FACTS just might not bare out. Besides, I was trying to give some constructive criticism, not get in a argument with a forum spammer that can not help them selves but to give their opinion on the forum itself instead of the game....lol. This is a Developer's site....they want constructive criticism.

I was stating facts. I personally can BARELY turn a PC on, nevermind HACKING. Ye I can get almost every achievement on this game.

Yes, the game does have an element of luck to it. Pretty much all games in the mode of "clear some blocks and let some more blocks fall" do. If the game didn't, it'd be pretty boring.

Your assertion that the game takes "NO skill" to get to level 10 is obviously false and shows that you're playing the game wrong. At a certain level of playing, the object of the game becomes "try to minimize the luck factor as much as possible". Playing the game in this way requires a considerable amount of skill.
